Engineering allows us to make or do stuff that was never possible 20 years. Engineering is being used today if it's mission to mars or going to the bottom of the ocean. Using the resources that DEEP provides for us will make a vehicle that can go in water and maneuver around obstacles. Using an external battery, we will power the sabertooth, allowing our vehicle to move and turn. The Sabertooth is connected to bilge pumps letting us to make turns by turning off one bilge pump. Using the joysticks to control our entire project. The base will be made out of PVC pipe which we know can float because of our testing. We chose the diamond design because the most efficient way to attach the bilge pumps. The way we attached the bilge pumps is cut two sides of the diamond design in half and reconnect them with a PCV T-pipe connector. It can connect to two sides that are in half there a spare place to connect to where the bilge pump go. What we need to know for this project is basic building skills and some advanced wiring skills. This project means a lot to us and we hope you enjoy our documentation of the project as much as we did.
